TCP Code

The Telecommunications Consumer Protections Code ("TCP Code") is a comprehensive code of practice for the Telecommunications Industry which sets minimum standards for service providers. The Telecommunications Consumer Protections (TCP) Code 2012 is the primary Code for all telecommunications service providers and outlines a range of key consumer safeguards and protections and sets out mandatory requirements in relation to:

  • Advertising
  • Billing
  • Changing suppliers (for customer transfers)
  • Complaint handling
  • Consumer Sales & Services and Contracts
  • Credit and debt management
  • Customer service
  • Spend control tools

We have made a significant investment so that we can fully comply with the TCP Code. We are proud of our staff who have worked hard to ensure we meet and, in many cases, exceeds the requirements of the Code to deliver great outcomes for our customers. If you would like to talk to us about the code or how we are following it, please contact us.
